Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 16, 2026

The 338th Portal is a private, login-only portal for authorized adult members. This policy explains how the portal handles information needed to provide member access, unit communications, request workflows, and notices.

Information we process

We process account and profile information, unit and routing assignments, portal activity, posts and comments, RST request information, task assignments, due dates, task notes and attachments, workflow history, and device notification tokens when a member enables native notifications. RST and task information may include duty dates, locations, comments, and operational identifiers supplied by the member.

Why we use information

Information is used only to operate and secure the portal, authenticate members, route and record requests, deliver portal and email notices, maintain required records, and support authorized member access.

Protection and access

Access is limited by authenticated account and authorized role. Task records are limited to the assigned soldier, the task's responsible party and creator, authorized leaders over that soldier, and administrators. Sensitive RST identifiers are encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. Portal traffic is protected in transit using HTTPS. Members should provide only information required for the request or workflow.

Sharing, advertising, and sales

The portal does not sell personal information and does not use advertising or advertising identifiers. We do not provide member information to advertisers. Service providers that operate hosting, email delivery, or device notification infrastructure process information only as needed to operate the portal and its notices.

Retention and questions

We retain information for as long as needed for portal operations, workflow history, security, and applicable recordkeeping requirements. To ask about your information or request account assistance, contact [email protected].
